Ramapo's Moore named MVP of 13th Annual
All-Star Classic

| Ramapo's Zack Moore hauled in a pair of first half touchdown passes to propel
the North to a 35-10 victory over the South, in the 13th Annual Bergen County All-Star High School Football Classic.
Moore, who will continue his academic/athletic career at the University of Rhode Island, was selected the North's
MVP on Friday evening (June 13) at Vince Lombardi Stadium in the Palisades Park section of Overpeck County Park
as the victors established a new record for points scored. |
| Moore, who is a recruited walk-on for first-year head coach Darren Rizzi,
caught a 55-yard TD aerial from Jake Siebert, a Ramsey signal caller, in the first quarter. Siebert is headed to
NCAA Division III powerhouse Springfield. |
| Moore's second six-pointer reception was a 20-yard touchdown strike from
Siebert that put the North in front for good in the second quarter, is excited about the chance to play for Rhode
Island. Moore will room with another All-Star teammate, Paramus' T.J. Chakonis, a defensive safety. |
| Retired Dumont Athletic Director Carl Von Tobel, Sr. served as the Honorary
Head Coach for both teams while Nick Capuano of Midland Park and Scott Tireman of Ramsey were Co-Game Directors.
The Executive Committee included Jim Albro (Wallington), Jim Bononno (Becton). Nick Delcalzo (Hasbrouck Heights),
Drew Gibbs (Ramapo), Anthony Marck (North Arlington), Ron Panissidi (Palisades Park), Billy Straub (Westwood),
